  • OUTSTANDING SENIOR:  Mason Grindstaff
     
    Mason GrindstaffOur Outstanding Senior from Cherryville High School is Mason Grindstaff. 

    Mason Grindstaff is a well-rounded student-athlete at Cherryville High School.  Finishing up his best year academically in school, he has managed to balance a difficult workload during his senior year with a busy athletic schedule.  A member of many sports teams at Cherryville, Mason won third place at the state wrestling tournament this year, was a key player on the football team, and was also a member of the track and field team.  Mason also manages to find the time to compete in mixed martial arts outside of school, and he has experienced great success.  After graduation, Mason has made the commitment to serve our country in the U.S. Marine Corps.  He looks forward to beginning his career and furthering his education in the military.
