    Ismael Camilo-SalinasOur Outstanding Senior from Bessemer City High School is Ismael Camilo-Salinas. 

    Ismael’s quiet demeanor can be deceiving.  He is an excellent student, athlete, and leader at Bessemer City High School.  He played soccer all four years of his high school career and was captain for three of those years.  He is a team player on and off the field.  Ismael has an exceptional work ethic, and he is respectful to everyone. A member of the Beta Club, National Honor Society, and Pep Club, Ismael will receive a silver cord at graduation for passing the WorkKeys certification.  He plans to attend Regent University in Virginia Beach to study mechanical engineering.
