  • OUTSTANDING SENIOR:  Ashlynn Stephens
     
    Ashlynn StephensOur Outstanding Senior from Ashbrook High School is Ashlynn Stephens. 

    Ashlynn Stephens is a great student and a fierce competitor on the volleyball court.  Ashlynn, who is the student body president at Highland School of Technology, is captain of the varsity volleyball team, was named the 2021 State Player of the Year by the North Carolina Volleyball Coaches Association, and led her team to the state playoffs.  Conference Player of the Year and Most Valuable Player are titles she has consistently earned throughout her athletic career.  In addition to standing out on the volleyball court, Ashlynn has collected items for students who are homeless, and she is active in Health Occupations Students of America (HOSA).  After graduation, she plans to attend Oglethorpe University in Atlanta.
