Our Outstanding Senior from Ashbrook High School is Amarah Kendrick. 

In addition to working hard in all of her classes, Amarah Kendrick knows what it means to be a well-rounded individual.  Currently ranked in the top 10 students of her graduating class, Amarah has also continued to embrace her love of dance, which she has been doing for six days a week for the last six years.  She has been a member of the Mayor’s Youth Council, Health Occupations Students of America (HOSA), and Civinettes, and she also served as a Junior Marshal.  Amarah is part of the Nursing Fundamentals class at Ashbrook and will have the opportunity to take the CNA licensure exam at the end of the semester.  Upon graduation, she will have earned 19 college credit hours through the Career and College Promise program.  Amarah plans to attend Duke University.
