I am so glad to be a member of the Lingerfeldt family.  After spending seventeen years as a middle school classroom teacher, I decided to make the move to a media center.  I knew when I made this move thatI wanted to be with elementary students.  I am enjoying my time here getting to know the students and hoping to help foster a love of reading in students as young as five.  Reading is a big part of my life, and I want students to learn to escape the realities of a sometimes harsh and cruel world by exploring new and exciting worlds and ideas within the pages of a book.
