Angie Molla

Ms. Molla is thrilled to be joining the students and staff at Lingerfeldt Elementary this school year! She graduated with a Bachelor's Degree in sociology from East Tennessee State University, went on to attain her teaching certificate, and spent nine rewarding years as a classroom teacher at Woodhill Elementary. During that time, she obtained a Master's Degree in instructional technology from Appalachian State University. Ms. Molla spent the past six years at Catawba Heights Elementary School as a classroom teacher, then content teacher, where she achieved National Board Certification in early and middle childhood literacy and most recently completed a Master's Degree program in school administration at Gardner-Webb University.

During her tenure in GCS, she has served as a Pinnacle Leader twice, coached robotics and Girls on the Run, participated in the North Carolina Digital Leaders Coaching Network, has presented professional development sessions, written inquiry units currently included in the GCS curriculum, and was a member of the team working to transition elementary schools to standards-based grading. Ms. Molla is committed to creating positive change and opportunities for all students to succeed.

Beyond her passion for education, she is more than mildly obsessed with her two dogs, enjoys visiting her family and the beach whenever possible, and loves watching the Green Bay Packers win. She believes all students deserve a positive, fun learning environment full of supportive adults and is eager to meet and grow with the Lingerfeldt community!
