I am so excited to be a part of this amazing Brookside community! With 20 + years of experience in classroom education, I am now in the media center. I received a Masters in Library Science and Technology from Appalachian State University. I enjoy being in this role and look forward to creating a fun learning environment for the students!

Mr. Tommy Tran
I am excited to be back at Brookside Elementary School. I hold a Bachelor of Music Education from Wingate University where I studied under the direction of Dr. Kenney Potter and Dr. Nana Wolfe-Hill. As a conductor, I have enjoyed the distinct honor of competing and being selected as a finalist in both the Southern Region ACDA conducting competition as well as the NCACDA conducting competition. In addition to my work as a conductor, I currently serve as the Music Director at Vision Church (èAVƵia, NC) and reside at his home in Belmont.
