Hello GVA Parents and Students! 

My name is Carmin Adams. I am excited to serve as ��èAV��Ƶ Virtual Academy’s Assistant Principal. I am a product of ��èAV��Ƶ, graduating from Hunter Huss High School.

I earned my Bachelor of Arts degree in Elementary Education from Belmont Abbey College. 

I earned my Master’s in School Administration from UNC-Charlotte through the Principal Fellows Program in 2021.

I have worked for ��èAV��Ƶ for over 16 years. During my educational career, I have proudly served as a teacher assistant, bus driver, computer lab specialist, kindergarten teacher, third-grade teacher, fifth-grade teacher, and Content Teacher/Instructional Coach.

In 2018, I had the honor of serving as ��èAV��Ƶ' Teacher of the Year. I most recently served as Assistant Principal at H.H. Beam Elementary from 2021-2023. 

Outside of school, I love spending time with my family and going swimming. 

I look forward to serving the students, families, and staff at GVA!
