Mr. Hubers received his Bachelor's degree from Chowan University in Physical Education in 2002. After graduating, he worked as a Health/Physical Education teacher and basketball coach at North ��èAV��Ƶ High School in Dallas, NC for nine years. Mr. Hubers was selected for the North Carolina Principal Fellows Program in 2011 and received his Masters in School Administration from UNC Charlotte in 2013. After serving as Assistant Principal at Cherryville Elementary for two years, Mr. Hubers was named the principal at Cherryville Elementary, where he served for six years before being named the principal at Cherryville High School in 2021. 

Mr. Hubers lives in Dallas, NC, and is married to his wife, Jessica. They have two children (Kylie and Brady). He enjoys spending time with his family, reading, playing tennis, and watching sports.
