Meghan Arnold

I am so excited to be serving the Belmont Central community and meeting our 2nd and 3rd grade students’ social-emotional needs through classroom guidance lessons, small groups, and individual counseling. I am happy to be in Belmont where my family and I also live, and am glad to get to know the students and families of our community.

I attended the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill for my undergraduate years and earned a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Psychology. I then completed an Education Specialist and Master’s dual degree in Counselor Education at Clemson University. I started my career in Virginia where I worked as a mental health professional both directly with clients and overseeing other counselors and their clients. Prior to coming to Belmont Central at the beginning of the 2022-23 school year, I worked in CMS for a total of 6 years, with 3 years of experience at both the high school and elementary school levels.
