Message from the Principal

Welcome to the website for Page Primary School!  I am honored to serve as the leader for our wonderful school.  The mission of Page Primary is to educate the whole child in a safe and nurturing environment.  Our school serves as the foundation for many of the children in Belmont as they grow and develop into life-long learners.  We create learning experiences that educate children academically, socially and emotionally.  Teachers educate our students at the highest levels in reading, writing, phonics, mathematics, social studies and science. STEAM practices are integrated into many activities.  The community is supportive of Page through volunteering in a variety of capacities.  I whole heartedly believe that early childhood education is at the heart of the educational system.  I encourage everyone in our school community to be a part of the work of Page.  Be a part of the team that is laying the foundation for tomorrow.

From 2017-19, he served as the Assistant Principal for Belmont Middle School.  During his time at BMS, the school maintained a tradition of excellence.  For the first time in the history of the school, Belmont Middle exceeded growth on the NC School Report Card for the 2017-18 school year and then again for the 2018-19 school year.  The school achieved the goal of becoming 1:1 with Chromebooks with the support of the entire school community.  The school worked collaboratively to implement enrichment and remediation during the school day.  The school began implementing P.B.I.S. during the 2018-19 school year.

Mr. Goff was named the principal of Page Primary School in June 2019 and is in his fifth year at Page.
